The Koru (Maori for 'loop') is a spiral shape based on the unfurling silver fern frond of the ponga plant. The Maori Koru design carries a spiritual meaning, one of peace, tranquility, positive change and new beginnings.

If put outside, it is recommended to apply a stone sealer every 9-12 months to protect from the elements.
