Sunline Tapered Monofilament is an ideal line and leader for surfcasting.
The line gradually tapers up from 16lb 0.33mm mainline to 50lb 0.57mm over a 20m length, to give a seamless transition from main line to a heavy shock leader at the business end of your line. This heavy shock leader will significantly reduce "bust-offs" when casting heavy baits.

The tapered line is coloured in different shades changing every 25m, so at a glance you can see how far you have cast.

Most nylon will absorb water through microscopic pores in the surface of the line, when the line dries the salt is left in the line creating a milky look, this results in hardening of the line and gives it a rough texture.

Sunline products are manufactured using a water repellent resin processing which produces a stronger, smoother, longer lasting fishing line.
